Per-site Loxone for lighting scenes, climate, blinds, fingerprint access (5 permission levels), fridge temperature monitoring and Hikvision CCTV. Home Assistant as the global supervision layer across all five sites — one screen, five operations.
Music is treated as an operational tool: per-site playlists matched to time of day and shift, not background filler the manager forgets to turn on.

Hospitality has needs that residential doesn't have. After 20+ projects in this segment, this is the stack we install almost without exception:
- Multi-site supervision — one Home Assistant dashboard for the whole chain, status of every site, alarms surfaced to the right manager.
- Fingerprint access with permission levels — kitchen staff, waiters, manager and owner each with their own access. Logs of who entered when. No shared keys.
- Fridge & cold-room temperature monitoring — alerts to the manager's phone if any unit drifts. Saves stock and meets HACCP audits.
- Lighting scenes by shift — opening, lunch, dinner, closing. One button per shift. Energy savings up to 40% vs always-on.
- Climate control by zone — terrace, dining room, kitchen, restrooms — each on its schedule. Daikin / Mitsubishi / Modbus integrated.
- Hikvision CCTV with NVR independent of internet — recording continues if the fibre fails. Remote view for the owner from anywhere.
- Audio as an operational tool — per-zone playlists by shift, automated, the manager never forgets to turn on the music.
The right tool for hospitality.
For most hospitality projects we use Loxone for per-site automation (it's reliable, well-documented, and it survives kitchen humidity better than consumer hubs) and Home Assistant as the global supervision layer across multiple sites.
Why Home Assistant? Because hospitality always needs to integrate something the consumer ecosystems don't talk to: a specific PMS, a niche fridge alarm, a legacy intercom, a bespoke loyalty system. Home Assistant has the integrations or lets us write them. Closed systems don't.
